Partnerships
Three core values of The Friendship School focus on partnerships, relationships, and collaboration. Partnerships allow TFS to provide expanded opportunities that are not only customized to meed student needs, but also support the community through internships and service learning.
Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut
- Field trips to the Children's Museum provide enhanced learning opportunities for our students.
Mitchell College
- Early Childhood Education student teachers gain field experience in the TFS classrooms.
New England Science & Sailing
(NESS)
- NESS supports TFS's inquiry-based learning and provides hands-on and new learning experiences.
Waterford High School
(WHS)
- Students in the WHS early childhood education course participate in an internship program at TFS, observing and actively participating with students in the classrooms.
